We respect that some CPA firms have chosen to focus on a single industry but, by design, we have avoided such a singular devotion to any one industry.  Our belief is that the lessons learned in one industry can often be applied to other industries.  We believe that this kind of cross-industry approach is critical to foster out-of-the-box thinking and to avoid assumptions that can be crippling to a professional’s thinking.  A quick look at the resume of virtually any CEO will disclose the same thing:  Very few have spent their entire careers in a single industry. 

The reality is that because of the breadth of our client base and the experience our professionals have accumulated, it is difficult to find an industry in which we do not have considerable exposure.  Mirroring the trend that has existed in the U.S. economy for at least a generation, much of our business now comes from the service sector.  However, because of our unique exposure to foreign-owned businesses that have U.S. subsidiaries, we have seen an influx of new clients in recent years that are in the manufacturing and distribution sectors.
