Gary Lasker

Education

Gary earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from Illinois State University and earned his MBA in accounting with honors from the Walter E. Heller College of Business Administration of Roosevelt University. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Chartered Retirement Plan Counselor.

Experience

Gary Lasker has over 20 years of experience in public accounting at national and local firms. He has conducted audits of companies in a variety of industries. He manages compilation, review, and audit engagements and evaluates financial statements and related accounting work for compliance with applicable professional standards. Gary regularly provides services to employee benefit plans, nonprofit organizations, governments, manufacturers, distributors, and service-based businesses. Additionally, he consults with and advises clients on tax, accounting, and business matters.

Activities and Associations

Gary is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). He is also a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He regularly attends continuing education courses in a variety of areas including auditing, corporate taxes, fraud, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and internal controls.  He recently received the Certificate of Educational Achievement from the AICPA after completion of their IFRS Certificate Program.
