The partners and professional staff of Bass, Solomon & Dowell, LLP are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. Some partners and staff maintain other designations as well, including MBAs, masters in taxation, and designations as Certified Fraud Examiners. Through continuing education, seminars, in-house training, and membership in various professional, civic, and charitable organizations, each partner and professional staff member maintains a broad and deep knowledge of our subject matter, which can be drawn on collectively for the particularly difficult or unusual challenge.
Because we believe in setting the table for the best possible communication, most of our engagements are staffed with the same professional staff members year in and year out. We know that hiring a CPA is an expensive endeavor. This consistency in staffing not only makes sure that the client has someone familiar with whom to commuicate, but also results in the most efficient and familiar professional doing the work, which helps us to minimize our clients’ professional fees. Within our firm, our working atmosphere is informal. We encourage and expect our staff members to collaborate and to draw on the collective knowledge of our firm. This also helps us to provide our services in the most efficient manner possible.
