While Bass, Solomon & Dowell, LLP traces its present structure back to 1992, our organizational roots in the business community extend back to 1981.  We have been located in Palatine, Illinois since our inception, and our members take pride in their involvement in the business, civic, charitable, and social communities of the northwest suburbs.  Our members are your neighbors, volunteers, and community leaders.

While the vast majority of our client base is located in the greater Chicago area, we claim clients throughout the United States. In fact, a number of our clients are located in other countries or have business operations in foreign countries.

Our goal is to provide our clients with the necessary accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting services to help them achieve their financial, personal, and organizational objectives. In order to achieve that goal, we need to have exceptional analytical skills and we must keep current on trends and changes that affect our clients.  Fundamentally, however, we must be good listeners and communicators.
