Business Clients

Our clients are spread across the spectrum in terms of size, complexity, needs, location, and industry.  We are geared to work seamlessly with the largest privately held businesses, and often these organizations will have multiple locations across the country with hundreds of employees. These larger clients may have controllers or CFOs with whom we coordinate our services.  However, we also focus our energies and resourcefulness on helping the smallest of businesses, taking entrepreneurs from the "idea" stage, to inception, and ultimately to becoming an operating business. With our smaller clients, we often serve as advisor, CFO, and accounting department.  We are proud to serve home-based businesses and one-owner companies.  Through years of practice and experience, we know how to focus our time on the critical issues for small businesses, ensuring that our time is spent efficiently.   

Individual Clients

Individuals turn to us for income tax planning and preparation and a wide variety of other financial projects, such as analyzing investment portfolios, college planning, retirement planning, or analyzing financial opportunities. We help our clients throughout the various stages of their financial lives, literally from birth to death.  Our clients include business owners, investors, retirees, and young couples. We are not limited geographically in our ability to serve our client's tax needs. We have the ability to research tax issues in every state, plan, and prepare the tax returns. Clients can communicate their tax information to us via email, fax, mail, or in personal visits.   

Nonprofit Clients

Nonprofit clients present challenges for many CPA firms because of their unique characteristics and requirements.  Governing boards typically consist of volunteers and often change every few years. The accounting skills and capabilities of many nonprofit groups also vary dramatically from organization to organization.  Budgets are usually tight for nonprofits, as they look to minimize overhead in order to allocate as much of their resources as possible to the charitable cause. Despite these limitations, nonprofits have at least as many accounting, audit, tax, and consulting needs as for-profit businesses.  We first analyze our client's needs and then "dovetail" our services to fill the needs. We are proud to serve nonprofit clients of all shapes and sizes, from churches to school groups to organizations that focus on the elderly, youth, professional organizatons, and education.  

Estates and Trusts

Estates come in all sizes and shapes, and the accounting and tax needs vary as well.  Larger estates may look to us to prepare the estate tax returns, while smaller estates may need our help in allocating assets to beneficiaries.  In many cases, we are involved with the attorneys in planning the estate and the creation of trusts, providing projections and calculations as needed. Estate and trust income tax laws have unique features with which most CPA firms are not familiar. Occasionally, our clients need help administering the day-to-day activity of the trusts or estates, and will turn to us for assistance. We have even provided audit services to trusts and estates, where desired by the beneficiaries.
