Harold C. Solomon, CPA
Harold received his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1970, and has been a CPA since 1975.
Harold worked in public accounting for nine years before starting his own accounting firm in 1979. His firm specialized in taxes, accounting, and planning for small to medium size businesses and individuals. Having merged his accounting practice with Raymond C. Bass in 1985 to form Bass, Solomon & Co., Harold later served as a partner in the successor firm of Bass, Solomon & Dowell, LLP until his retirement as a partner in 2000. Harold continues his relationship with our firm, however, on a part-time basis by providing accounting and consulting services to select businesses and individuals.
Harold is a member of Illinois CPA Society and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has been active in youth organizations over the years, serving as a leader in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, as well as coaching youth baseball.
In his spare time, Harold likes to hike and enjoy nature, as well as relax by the pool.
